Peter J. Rothschild, Ph.D.
Founding Partner and CTO
Peter developed the Vaucluse proprietary genetic algorithms to provide an evolutionary approach to systematic trading and to generate top quartile risk adjusted returns in a variety of market conditions. Peter received a PhD in High Energy Nuclear Physics from MIT and a BS in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the Australian National University. Peter has over 40 patents in the detection of explosives, weapons and drugs using advanced x-ray imaging techniques. Peter is an expert in the detection of weak signals in noisy x-ray image data, and he applied many of the same principles to developing algorithmic trading signals for volatile markets.
Daniel H. Bathon, Jr.
Dan currently serves as general partner and chairman at Vaucluse. He is also general partner and CEO of Vinebrook Partners, a real estate investment partnership. He is a seasoned financial expert, having served as senior vice president and partner of Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he was in charge of the firm’s commercial paper division in New York and where he raised over $1 billion for two major customers. Dan received a BS in business administration from Villanova University.
Jesse T. Brady
Senior VP, Operations
Jesse is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Vaucluse Partners, and is an Investment Advisory Representative (IAR) having passed the Series 65 exam (Uniform Investment Advisor Law). Jesse began his financial career in 2010 at Wellington Management Company in Boston working closely with portfolio managers and traders to track and manage both client and SEC mandated compliance rules. Prior to joining Vaucluse in 2015, Jesse worked at athenahealth, Inc. to align healthcare providers with value-based purchasing systems. Jesse received a BS in business administration from Northeastern University with a dual concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems.
James J. Rogers II
Senior VP, Business Development
Jay is the Vice President of Business Development at Vaucluse Partners. Jay’s financial experience includes working as a client advisor in the private wealth and investment management sectors. In addition to this, Jay has spent the last five years implementing tax-advantaged retention strategies and plans for executives of credit unions, banks and hospitals. Jay received a BA in Economics and Theology from Boston College.

Stuart Barton, Ph.D., CFA

Invest In Vol's founding partner Dr. Stuart Barton is a volatility trading specialist with more than 15 years’ experience building and managing volatility portfolios. Stuart has held senior trading roles with Barclays Capital in both London and New York, as well as HSBC in Hong Kong. Stuart holds a PhD in Economic History from the University of Cambridge, an MBA from the University of Surrey, and a B.Sc in engineering from the University of Cape Town. Stuart is also a CFA Charter holder, an Investment Advisory Representative (IAR) and has passed the Series 3, 4, 7, 17, 55, and 63 exams.
